Overview

Margaret Farid is a New York–licensed litigator who represents companies, property owners, developers, and construction managers in high-stakes commercial and real estate disputes. Her practice encompasses breach of contract and fraud claims, partnership and shareholder conflicts, business torts, and complex real property litigation. She frequently advises and defends developers and owners involved in ground-up construction projects, handling contract enforcement, payment disputes, and risk management throughout the development cycle.

Drawing on extensive courtroom experience, she brings a litigator’s foresight to business and real estate negotiations — identifying potential points of conflict early and structuring agreements to minimize risk, protect assets, and strengthen her clients’ position in complex transactions.
